Ricardo Cabezas is a 3D artist pursuing his BFA in Emerging Media: Animation &
Visualization at the University of Central Florida. He specializes in 3D character modeling,
rigging, prop modeling and texturing, working with a range of tools such as Maya, ZBrush,
Substance Painter. Growing up in the city of Los Angeles, Ricardo was heavily inspired by
the city’s rich film and animation culture, which fuels his drive to push the boundaries of
what’s possible in animation. He has contributed his skillset to student animated films like
Arcade Palace, where he was responsible for character rigs, 2D-inspired shaders and prop
models. Ricardo continues to expand his portfolio while pursuing opportunities in
character modeling and rigging for animated films and video game studios
